It's Not Supposed To Be Easy

Markets go up and markets go down. Every market has fundamentals, commodities trade, or are supposed to trade on supply and demand. Stocks are supposed to trade on company earnings and balance sheets. With today's casino like markets, you can take the fundamentals and even the technicals and just throw them out the window! Is it frustrating, is it confusing? Sure, but how can you let the markets frustrate you when you have no control over it. I have been trading for more than 13 years and I am not afraid to admit that I am confused, who isn't at this point.

I really used to get offended when people would say that my profession was simply gambling, a roll of the dice. For the professional traders who are reading, you can vouch for the countless hours of research and sleepless nights watching these markets- if you had a plan and know what you are doing, bottom line is you can make a pretty damn good living trading the markets. Trading is not supposed to be easy, it takes great dedication to be successful. My living has certainly suffered in the past couple of years, I have given up trading full time because it's just not worth the time and effort anymore. I only started writing just a few months ago and I'll keep doing so because I feel obligated to keep people informed and quite frankly I know that I am right about what I speak about. The writing is on the wall, the CENTRAL BANKS of the world saved the financial system from collapse in 2008, to most people that is a distant memory. The fact is the problems are still in the system and that is why the FED and the other Central Banks will not stop buying their OWN debt, bottom line is NO COUNTRY CAN PRINT THEIR WAY TO PROSPERITY.

How long can this game go on, I for one am amazed that the game is still live and well! When will the trading community say enough is enough? I guess all we can do is wait and watch to see how it all plays out. Just in the past 6 weeks, we have witnessed how fast the Stock Markets around the world can unravel and in one weeks time we witnessed how fast the Stock Markets can give the appearance of a PERFECT WORLD.

My take remains the same- GOLD will be KING, most regular JOE's will miss the big move coming- Equities will take a huge hit and when they do, they will not come back into favor for many many years. Reality will set in at some point, the key is WHEN and to that I say no one knows. All you can do is PREPARE for the worst and Pray for the best.

That's it for tonight, let's see how the week finishes out. Thanks for reading!
Martin
